Executive Summary

Your safety is our priority. These Safety Guidelines explain the key requirements for enjoying a Dubai desert buggy adventure responsibly, from protective equipment and eligibility to driving conduct, passenger rules, emergencies and changing desert conditions.

01

Protective Gear & Attire

Wear the required protective equipment, including a helmet where provided or required. Wear closed-toe shoes and practical clothing suitable for heat, sand and off-road activity. Avoid loose accessories that could interfere with safety equipment or vehicle controls.

02

Age & Health Eligibility

Participants must meet the age, height, weight and driving requirements for the selected activity. Guests should disclose any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, medication or physical limitation that could affect safe participation.

03

Safety Briefing

Every participant must attend the safety briefing before operating or riding in an off-road vehicle. Follow the guide's instructions on vehicle controls, dune hazards, stopping procedures and emergency response.

04

Convoy & Driving Rules

Follow the lead guide and designated route, maintain a safe distance, obey marshal instructions and never overtake unless instructed. Reckless driving, racing, intentional collisions and unauthorized route changes are prohibited.

05

Vehicle Controls & Operation

Only approved and properly briefed drivers may operate a vehicle. Use restraints where fitted, operate at a safe speed for the terrain and report unusual vehicle behavior or damage immediately.

06

Passenger Rules

Passengers must remain seated, use supplied restraints and follow the driver's or guide's instructions. Do not stand, lean outside the vehicle, distract the driver or enter or exit while moving.

07

Emergency Procedures

If an incident occurs, remain calm and follow the guide or marshal. Do not leave the vehicle or designated area unless instructed. Report injuries, mechanical problems and hazards immediately.

08

Weather & Operating Conditions

Desert activities can be affected by heat, wind, rain, visibility and other environmental conditions. Tours may be adjusted, delayed, relocated or cancelled when conditions create an unacceptable safety risk.

09

Responsible Desert Conduct

Respect the desert environment and local operating rules. Do not litter, disturb wildlife, damage vegetation or drive outside approved areas.

10

Safety Contact & Reporting

Report any safety concern, injury, vehicle issue or unsafe behavior promptly to the guide or operating team so it can be assessed and addressed.
